MRD Associates assisting the Florida DEP with Professional Engineering Services at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park

Hurricane Michael created a breach between St. Joe Bay and the Gulf of Mexico within the T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park in the area known as Eagle Harbor. MRD Associates is assisting the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction with a geotechnical investigation, design and permitting to fill in the breach, restore the beach and dune system, rebuild the access road, replace the culvert(s) under Cabin Road, and reestablish the utility lines.
