MRD Awarded Gulf County Coastal Engineering Services Contract
MRD Associates, Inc. (MRD) was notified recently of Gulf County’s award to the firm of the Coastal Engineering Services Contract. MRD provides cost-effective coastal engineering solutions to today’s ever-changing shorelines for public and private sector clients. Our Team consists of coastal engineers with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in data collection, numerical modeling, design, permitting, construction, and post-disaster response. The new Gulf County Coastal Engineering Contract is a continuing contract to provide a variety of services including shoreline change analysis and beach assessments, erosion control and restoration, surveying, permitting, geotechnical, construction phase services, and coastal resiliency. MRD has been providing coastal engineering services to Gulf County for over 15 years. Our engineers are ready to hit the ground running to continue the pivotal, ongoing work for Gulf County’s coastal program including, for example, erosion control and environmental enhancement projects and implementation of southern peninsula breakwaters. The MRD Team for Gulf County includes all-local partners including Dewberry Engineers, Inc., Southeastern Consulting Engineers, Inc. (SCE), and Garlick Environmental Associates, Inc. (GEA).
